Exit to Eternity by ~alians07:iconalians07:

Exit to Eternity

Soaked in light by blood thirst.
Drenched in dark by black blood.
Thirst drinks blood, And blood kills thirst.
This is when I grew in mud.
Dropped high and wings tear first.
crawling on ground began my childhood.
Lost in dark, Shadow I am.
Faint in light, Shadow I am.

Soaked in light by human wisdom.
Drenched in dark by stingy human.
Wisdom eats humans, And humans kills wisdom.
This is when I grew in Divine Plan.
Placed high and wings cry freedom.
Jumping on land began living as a Man.
Lost in dreams, Knowledge I be.
Faint in lust, Knowledge I be.

Soaked in light by heaven love.
Drenched in dark by aching heaven.
Love makes heaven, And heaven kills love.
This is when I grew out skies of seven.
Highest high and wings hold true-love.
Soaring in sky began my life with forgiven.
Lost in light, Soul I live.
Faint in dark, Soul I live.

Very very nice! This is my favourite of yours. The emotion and purity of the words is really entrancing. Nicely done! :)

This is very, very interesting. I really like how you kept the theme throughout the poem, it is very effective.

The only thing I really object about this is the phrase, "Heaven kills Love." This is just a personal view though.

Other than that, this is superbly well written.

We are genuine, and yet regarded as imposters;
We are dying, and, behold, we live on;
We are sorrowful, and yet we always rejoice;
We have nothing, and yet we posses everything.

2 Corinthians 6:8-10 (paraphrased)
